I'm trying to wean and my one side is pretty engorged and I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

I've heard to use cabbage leaves to relieve the pain? I'm not sure... I usually just dealt with it myself.. it's hard to resist not nursing and pumping!! Take some tylenol. I think it only lasts a couple of days (which seems like an eternity when you're going through it). Good luck!

Denise!! So good to see you around again. When I weaned I just dealt with it. It was never as bad as the engorgment of milk coming in so it was bearable.

Also look at kellymom.com and see what they say notto take due to them drying you up. Plus see what food they say to avoid for the same reason and try them. I know one of the decogestant /antihistimines but not sure which one . If needed id just pump just enough to relieve the preasure/pain.
