I've been breastfeeding Grace for nearly 7 months now, with no problems. Just recently it's started to hurt really bad when she nurses! I try to unlatch her and try again, but everytime it hurts just as much no matter how many times we try. She IS teething and it's definitely bothering her, and she bites me every little while... could it be the teeth that's bothering her that's causing this change? It hurts so much I don't look forward to feeding her anymore!! Any suggestions??

I just thought I'd bump this... it's still going on and my boobs are getting really sore!!!! There's even a small blood spot on my nipple. Ow!

I wish I had a suggestion for you, but I don't! Ainsley didn't nurse and Amelia and I haven't made it that far, but I really hope it gets better. As always...the best suggestion is to call a lactation consultant!

Kahlan would kind of knaw (spelling) on mine when he was teething so maybe that has something to do with it..
